Do I need to make an appointment for treatments?
Yes, we do advise that spa therapy treatments are booked well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Spa reservations can be made by calling us directly on +27 (0) 21 883 9444 or by sending an e-mail to spa@lanzerac.co.za.

Upon making the reservation, the spa attendant will ask you for your credit card number to secure your booking. Your credit card will not be charged prior to your arrival and upon checking in to the spa reception. You are allowed to choose any other payment method desired. Your credit card will only be charged in the event of failing to show up for spa therapies booked.

What other amenities are included with the purchase of my spa treatment?
Full day usage of the heated pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and the Fitness Centre are included in any spa treatment.

What time do I arrive for Spa Treatments?
We suggest that guests arrive 20 minutes before treatments are scheduled to begin. This will allow enough time to fill in our Guest Consultation Form and to enjoy our unique Welcome Foot Ritual. You may wish to arrive early for your treatment to make use of our sauna and steam facilities before your massage.

What happens if I arrive late for treatments?
Arriving late for treatments will result in the shortening of your treatment. Although the treatment time will be reduced, full price of the treatment will be charged.

What is the age restriction for the Spa?
Teen services are available for young adults ages 12-16. We also offer limited services for Kids ages 7-11, and a parent or guardian must accompany them through the duration of their service. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to use the private lounge and wet areas.

What should I bring with to the spa?
Lanzerac Spa & Wellness Centre will provide you with gowns and slippers to wear during your spa experience. Bring along your swimming costume should you wish to make use of our wonderful hydra therapy facilities.
We do request that you do not bring your valuable jewellery to the spa, as we do not take any responsibility for lost or damaged items.

If I am pregnant?
It is important to let your therapist know that you are expecting and how far along you are. There are only a few treatments that are not suitable for pregnant guests. Please also ensure to check with your physician before booking spa treatments. We do offer an extensive range of treatments specifically developed for the mother to be.

What if I have special medical conditions?
Please check with your physician before booking your treatment with us. Notify the spa upon booking your treatment as well as upon arrival, be sure to mention it on your client consultation card. We are concerned with your safety and well being and therefore reserve the right to refuse service to any guest due to medical constraints.

What is the nudity policy?
Please note that the Lanzerac Spa & Wellness Centre has a no nudity policy. Gowns and slippers are provided for use during your spa experience, allowing for your comfort.

What do I wear during treatments?
The type of treatment that you will experience will dictate attire. Just remember that all therapists are trained in special draping techniques to ensure that the only exposed part of the body is the area being worked on at the time.

At the Lanzerac Spa we do provide disposable underwear that you will be able to use during waxes, massages, exfoliations & wraps. The disposable underwear provided caters for both men and women.

What happens at the end of the treatment?
The therapist will signal the end of the treatment by telling you it's over. She will then leave the room so that you can put your robe on again.
