How to get to the Lanzerac from Cape Town
| Get to Buitengraght Street (from Sea Point take the Western Boulevard) | | Drive towards the ocean down Buitengraght and pass V&A Waterfront turn-off. | | Keep in the left hand lane to turn onto the N1, to your left where the road splits on the bridge. | | Keep on the N1 for 30km and when you see the "Engen 1-Stop" on your left hand side, take the next off-ramp to the left to Stellenbosch. | | At the top of the off-ramp turn right and go over the bridge (the N1 will pass under you). Keep straight through the vineyards. As you get into Stellenbosch town you'll see a residential area on your left hand side. From there pass through 3 sets of traffic lights. At the 4th set of traffic lights you will turn left into Merriman Road (there will be a Caltex Petrol station on your right). | | When you reach the large traffic circle, enter and take the 2nd exit to the left out of the circle (as if you were to go straight). | | Follow the road towards the mountain (now called Martinson Street), you will pass a school on your right hand side. | | At the 4th road on your right hand side (Bosch-en-Dal), you will turn right and then the 1st left will lead you into the Lanzerac Estate. | | How to get to the Lanzerac from Cape Town International Airport
| From the airport take the Somerset West (N2) on ramp. | | Stay on the N2 until you reach the R310 Baden Powell/Stellenbosch off ramp. | | Keep left and stay on the R310 to Stellenbosch for approximately 17kms. You will pass landmarks such as Spier Estate and Vlottenburg Winery. | | When you reach the T-junction turn right and follow the road passing "Distel" on your right hand side. Keeping the railway line on your left hand side, travel passed the station (keeping in the left hand lane), and enter into Adam Tas Road. | | At the second set of traffic lights you will turn right into Merriman Road. | | Pass through 2 sets of traffic lights until you reach the traffic circle. | | When you reach the traffic circle, enter and take the 2nd exit to the left out of the circle (as if you were to go straight). | | Follow the road (now called Martinson Street, you will pass a school on your right hand side. | | At the 4th road on your right hand side (Bosch-en-Dal), you will turn right and then the 1st left will lead you onto the Lanzerac Estate | |
